INP and CABSHIP Strengthen Training for Young Professionals

CABSHIP and the National Institute of Petroleum (INP) have signed a new partnership agreement aimed at strengthening the training of young Angolans. The initiative will benefit 15 participants from the provinces of Cabinda, Zaire, Bengo, and Luanda.

As part of this collaboration, selected candidates will undergo specialized training in Industrial Electricity in Renewable Energies and International Welding Certification.

The agreement was formalized through the signing of protocols by CABSHIP’s Director-General, Luís da Silva, and INP’s counterpart, Alegria Raul Joaquim. The ceremony was attended by several distinguished guests, including the Governor of Cabinda, Suzana de Abreu; CABSHIP Director-General, João Filipe; and the President of the Association of Companies Providing Assistance to the Petroleum Industry (AECIPA), Bráulio de Brito, along with partners and stakeholders.

Speaking on the occasion, João Filipe emphasized the importance of the partnership:

“This collaboration with INP ensures certified and standardized training, contributing to the strengthening of local content with quality and competitiveness, with a focus on Angolan youth. This initiative also forms part of CABSHIP’s 17th anniversary celebrations.”
