The future\r\nCaio maritime terminal is also in the sights of the 100%\r\nAngolan joint venture, which will be registered in the Cabinda\r\nSpecial Economic Zone.<\/p>\r\n<p>The signatories of the MoU were Lu\u00eds Lago de Carvalho,\r\nexecutive board member of OCTOMAR, and Jo\u00e3o Filipe, CEO of\r\nCABSHIP.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>&#8220;Lago de Carvalho, executive board member of OCTOMAR,\r\nstated that &#8216;Cabinda was the province that allowed our\r\ncompany to grow and, above all, train most of our divers. We\r\nhave continued to operate in Cabinda, but from our base in\r\nLuanda, and we thought we should change this situation by\r\nfinding a solid partner with the same vision about local\r\ncontent, like CABSHIP, to do so. With the creation of the\r\nCabinda Special Economic Zone, we finally decided to move\r\nforward, and this is the first step towards what we hope will be\r\na successful local company with many reasons for pride for all.&#8217;\r\n\r\nMeanwhile, Jo\u00e3o Filipe, CEO of CABSHIP, said that &#8216;this strategic\r\npartnership between Angolan companies aims to demonstrate\r\nour commitment to continue adding value to the service\r\nprovision value chain for the oil sector by Angolan companies.\r\nWe will create specialized and support jobs. CABSHIP and\r\nOCTOMAR are companies with extensive experience in Oil &#038;\r\nGas and are ready to capitalize on the new wave of\r\nopportunities in the Angolan offshore industry and perhaps in\r\nneighboring countries.
